Home from Pennsic. A long, hot, two weeks.

Many thoughts on the way home about next year, many ideas, resolutions and plans. I am pleased with the little seedling baronial household. I managed to fight and to fence and nothing broke -- many thanks to my incredible acupuncturist and Barry the Body Wizard for putting me together to make it possible, and for the relaxing massage from chaiya. I remembered that nothing is more fun than combat in Valhalla, and that I am lonely for fencing in my life as a regular thing. lucianus went down for two whole days from heat and stubborness -- had to evacuate off-site, which caused a lot of worry, but then came back to slay knights at combat archery in the Mountain Passes on Wednesday. But our war was pretty much done after that -- just as it took 2 days to build the camp, it took 2 days to tear it down. Left later than we wanted to on Saturday after storing things for another year.
